what’s actually in it
Hydrocolloid. Cellulose Gum, Polyisoprene, Polyisobutene. A medical-grade gel that absorbs fluid from the blemish and holds a protective seal over it.
That is the entire formula. No salicylic acid, no benzoyl peroxide, no tea tree, no fragrance, no latex. One material doing one job properly — which is also why it costs what it costs. You are not paying for actives you did not want.
- not in itacids, actives, alcohol, fragrance, latex
- safe over broken skinthere is nothing in it to react
- works with everythingretinol, actives, your whole routine
questions people actually ask
Will it actually stay on all night?
Yes, if the skin underneath is completely dry. Hydrocolloid sticks to skin, not to moisturiser or oil — that is the single most common reason a patch lifts. Cleanse, wait a minute, then apply.
Why are these so much cheaper than the ones in the pharmacy?
Because you are buying 400 at a time, direct, with no retailer in between. The material is the same medical-grade hydrocolloid. What you are not paying for is a 24-patch box, a shelf, and a middleman — and there are no actives in it, which is the other half of what makes a spot patch expensive.
How long does shipping take?
Six to fourteen days, free, on every order with no minimum. It is not two-day delivery and we are not going to pretend otherwise — that is part of how 400 patches cost what they do. You get a tracking number as soon as it leaves.
What if it doesn’t work for me?
Email us inside 30 nights and we refund the order in full. Keep the pack — posting 400 patches back costs more than they are worth. No photos, no form, no proof required.
There’s no white gunk on my patch. Did it work?
Probably, yes. How much you see depends on the spot and what stage it was at. A patch that stays clear usually means there was little surface fluid to draw out — it was still doing the other half of the job, which is keeping the area covered and keeping your hands off it. Look for a flatter, calmer spot rather than for gunk.
Mine keeps falling off. What am I doing wrong?
Almost always moisturiser. Hydrocolloid grips skin, not skincare — so cleanse, then pat the area completely dry and let it sit for a minute before the patch goes on. Press it down for a full five seconds rather than tapping it. If you patch straight after serum or oil, the edge will lift within the hour.
Can I wear makeup over it?
Yes. Press it on first, let it settle for a minute, then apply foundation or concealer over the top with a light patting motion rather than dragging.
Does it hurt to take off?
No. Peel slowly from one edge rather than pulling it straight up. There is no adhesive residue and nothing to scrub off afterwards.
How long do I leave it on?
Six to eight hours, or overnight. There is no benefit to leaving it longer — once the centre has gone opaque white it has absorbed what it can.
Will it work on a spot that has not come to a head?
Less dramatically. Hydrocolloid draws fluid out of a blemish, so it does most for a spot with something at the surface. On a deep or blind spot it mainly protects the area and stops you picking at it.
Is there anything in it that will irritate my skin?
There are no active ingredients at all — no salicylic acid, no benzoyl peroxide, no tea tree, no fragrance, no latex. Just hydrocolloid. That is why it can sit over broken skin without stinging, and why it does not fight your retinol.
Is 400 patches too many?
That is rather the point. Sealed and kept out of direct sun they do not expire in any practical sense, and the whole behaviour change happens when you stop saving them for something important. Most people go from patching once a month to patching the moment they feel one coming — which is when it works best.
